What Makes Our Lessons Different?

Any pool can be warm. What makes our lessons special is our "why". We are a social enterprise on a mission to change lives through aquatics. This mission is built into the DNA of every lesson, focusing on three key actions:


We INCLUDE We believe every child and parent deserves a safe, welcoming space. We actively dismantle the barriers that make new parents anxious about swimming.

  • No Shivers, No Stress: Our pools are kept at a constant 34°C, making them perfect for tiny babies.
  • A Calm, Sensory Haven: We use magical sensory lighting (and sound at our Octopus pool) to create a calm, soothing atmosphere, not a loud, overwhelming one. This is a "safe haven" for you and your baby.
  • Small, Supportive Groups: With a maximum of 10 parent-and-child pairs, our classes are small and personal, allowing you to connect with other local parents.

We EDUCATE Our goal is not just to teach swimming; it's to empower you. We don't just deliver a service; we "explain the 'why' behind the 'what'" .
  • We Teach You, the Parent: Our program is specifically designed to "teach parents how to support their child's aquatic journey".
  • Empowering You with Knowledge: Our expert instructors are in the water with you, giving you the tools and confidence to support your baby's development.
  • Building a Foundation for Life: You'll learn how to hold your baby, build their water confidence, and understand the science of their development, empowering you long after the lesson ends.

Any financial surplus we make is reinvested directly into our foundational mission. The fee for your baby's swim lesson helps us to:


  • Fund subsidised hydrotherapy places for people in our community with chronic pain
  • Invest in state-of-the-art accessible hoist equipment.
  • Expand our services to reach other underserved communities.
