Teacher Training Sessions

Neptune Aquatics Swim School is not just another swimming school, but an Approved Training Centre (ATC) that offers a wide range of approved aquatic training courses. Our Senior Teaching team is highly experienced and skilled, and they not only teach at Neptune Aquatics, but also offer their expertise to other local and national swimming lesson providers as Swimming Tutors.

As part of these training courses, trainee teachers are required to conduct swimming lessons at different levels of difficulty. These sessions are always fully supervised by our tutoring team, ensuring that the trainee teachers receive the necessary guidance and support.

We are currently seeking your help in providing swimmers with the appropriate levels for these training sessions. The level of swimmers required depends on the courses being conducted, and you can find the dates, times, and required skill levels below. You can conveniently book online and be a part of our mission to nurture and develop the best swimming teachers in the country.

Swim School Rules

  • Appropriate Swim Wear

Please ensure your child attends lessons wearing appropriate swimwear.

Swim shorts that are below the knee and bikinis are not allowed and may result in your child being unable to participate in lessons

  • Changing Room Use

Please note that once children are aged 8+ they must use the correct gender-changing area, even if this means they are unaccompanied in the changing area.

We request that when assisting small children parents should use the correct gender-changing area for the adult, not the child. At some of our venues the changing facilities are also used by adults either before or after our lessons.

  • Swim hats & goggles

Swim hats are compulsary for all children aged 3+ years old. You could choose to use the swim hat from your joining pack or an alternative.  This is to aid in providing a hygienic swimming environment and to keep hair out of children's faces.

If your child would like to wear goggles they are welcome to do so. Most children in Neptune Swim School do choose to wear goggles.

Goggles and swim hats approved by the Neptune team can be purhased from Neptune Swim Shop and delivered to lessons.

  • Photography

All photography during swimming lessons is strictly prohibited.

If your child has a class teddy or homework that requires a photo of them at swimming, please contact the class teacher at the start of the lessons and we will arrange for a photo to be taken in a quiet section of the pool.

  • Sickness Policy

We politely ask all customers to refrain from bringing their children to swimming lessons if they have had sickness and or diarrhoea in the last 48 hours.

Children with chickenpox are only permitted to swim once all the spots have dried up.
