Assistant Swimming Teacher - No qualifications needed

We are currently looking for a assistant swimming teachers to join our team, our swim school teaching team. The job is open to anyone over the age of 16 years old and is a great start for anyone wanting to work in the leisure industry or with children.


What does this involve?

You will be in the water helping the swimming teacher teach the class

Helping to discipline and ensure all children are safe and listening to the teacher

Providing feedback when needed

Ensuring that children have a fun and enjoyable lesson


Training will be provided to the successful applicants in the form of the STA Award course. There will also be the opportunity for the right candidate to go on to take their Level 2 Award in Swim Teaching (this is a nationally recognized qualification) and progress onto the leading their own classes, in the future.


What are we looking for?

Friendly and great working with kids

Reliable and punctual

Able to work during school term time (hours are available outside of school hours)

A interest in swimming

No previous experience or qualifications are needed


Where and when?

Hours are available at all sites, working after school and at the weekend. This job is great to work around school commitments and to gain valuable qualifications and an understanding of how the working world runs.

Hourly Wage -  £5.60 - £7.83 Per hour

Lifeguard/Senior Pool Supervisor - Wyvern, Weymouth

We are looking for a senior pool supervisor to join our expanding hydrotherapy pool team. Working 35 hours per week, this role would suit someone looking to progress their career in the leisure industry.


We are looking for someone who loves working with people and helping them to get the best out of their time in the hydrotherapy pool. We offer a range of services to the local community and therefore are looking for an adaptable and committed member of staff. The senior pool supervisor role is a shift leader and will run the hydrotherapy pool to ensure the smooth operations for all users.


Hydrotherapy is different to swimming, we work with clients to help them recover from surgeries, illness and offer rehabilitation using the water to aid in their treatment.


Required Qualifications

Lifeguard/pool responder

First aid trained


Desirable Qualifications

Swimming teacher

Water fitness or fitness instructor


Number of hours

35 hours per week working afternoons into the evening and weekends. Our staff work a regular working pattern meaning you will do the same shifts each week.


Wages

£14,500 - £15,400 per year

Swimming Teacher  - Wyvern, Weymouth

An excellent opportunity has arisen within Neptune Aquatic Solutions for a highly motivated, creative, enthusiastic individual to join our expanding swimming teacher team,working out of  Wyevrn Hydrotherapy Pool, Weymouth.


The Swim School operates a 40 week swimming program inline with the school year. We also provide supplementary crash courses throughout the school holidays.


What does this involve?

You will be working with children encourage their growth and development within the water. This role will be very rewarding for the right candidate. 

The successful applicants will be either STA or ASA level 2 trained. Experience in teaching children with additional needs and working with baby and pre-school swimmers would be an advantage but not required. Training can be provided in these areas.

Where and when?

We are currently have the follow hours: Monday 3.45pm - 5.45pm & Sunday 3.00pm - 5.00pm with the scope to develop other hours. As well as the opportunity to provide 1-to-1s for both adults and children.    


Hourly Wage -  All of our staff are employed and receive £16.12 per hour for swim teaching.


There is the opportunity for the right candidate to undertake Pool Responder or exercise class duties
