Why should I enrole my child onto a Swimming Crash Course?

Posted by david on June 21, 2018 at 4:20 AM

Many swim schools run intensive swimming courses. They involve children swimming every day, usually over a 5 day period.

Moving up from our Starfish Classes

Posted by david on October 24, 2017 at 8:20 AM

We often get asked how parents can support their child moving up from Starfish to Ducklings. This is a huge change in the style and content of the lessons, as parents will now be watching from the poolside rather than taking part in the water.

We would like to remind all customers that from the start of this term, all children over the age of 3 years are required to wear a swimming hat to their lessons. This has been a decision long in the making. On the content, you cannot swim in a public pool without a swimming hat and goggles. This has contributed to them having some of the most hygienic swimming pools in the world. I’ve had lots of questions from parents asking “ why have Neptune decided this” ...

Posted by david on August 21, 2017 at 11:25 AM

On the 13th Apeil 2017 at Ashwicke hall. Jake, Steph, Harrison & David got to see first hand just how our lifesaving skill spots can really make all the difference in an emergency situation.

On arriving at Ashwicke for their crash course lessons, a Dad threw his back out trying to get out of the car. Our swimmer (10 years old), calmed down her 3 younger brothers and got them sat down in the car. She then left her Dad and ran to the pool to get help from Steph, Jake & Harrison.
